    Please Note: You must read through all of the information provided. Once you have read all of the information you will have the opportunity to sign up for your Orientation session.

    TRANSFER SESSIONS

    Transfer sessions involve one very full day of presentations and workshops. The sessions are designed in a single day format in order to meet your scheduling needs and be as cost-effective as possible. Because there are so many different opportunities offered, the day will be long, and students who get the most out of the experience plan their schedule tightly and attend as many things as possible.

    Session Schedule
    Listed below is a general overview of the session schedule. When you arrive for your Orientation session you receive a more detailed session schedule. The schedule is subject to change before the summer begins.

    • 8:30am - Opening Address: Entering a Community of Scholars
    • 9:30am - What It Means to Be a Bruin
    • 10:30am - University and College Degree Requirements
    • 11:30 am - Students Meet Their Orientation Counselors
    • 12:30pm - Lunch and Activities Fair
    • Afternoon - Departmental Advising Appts and Academic Advising Appts with Orientation Counselor
    • Afternoon - Various workshops and presentations
    • 5:30 - 7:30pm - Dinner
    • 7:30pm - Registration and Enrollment presentation
    • 8:00 pm - Enrollment in Fall Quarter classes

    Reserving a Session
