The 2007 Orientation Staff

Our staff is predominantly comprised of undergraduate students, and it is this staff that is at the heart of of the UCLA Orientation Program. The staff is comprised of two types of staff members: the Orientation Counselors (OCs) and the Orientation Assistants (OAs).

The Orientation Counselors are the peer advisors who provide both academic counseling and a firsthand knowledge of the campus to students at the first-Year and transfer sessions. The Orientation Assistants work within the office, helping to run the administrative aspects of the program as well as counseling family members at Family Orientation.

If you are a UCLA undergraduate student, you might consider applying for these positions. Working as part of the Orientation Program is a highly rewarding experience that can build fantastic skills, including counseling, teaching, and making presentations. And working within this close-knit staff often develops lasting, memorable friendships as well!
