UCLA’s Center for Academic and Research Excellence (CARE) provides enrichment opportunities for students interested in research and teaching careers, and whose success through graduate training will increase the numbers of historically underrepresented individuals in academic and technological fields. CARE emphasizes hands-on apprenticeship in research as a way to help students achieve their aspirations.
