Culver City Municipal Bus Line #6 is a direct line to UCLA, serving residents who live near the 405 San Diego Freeway and along Sepulveda Boulevard to as far south as LAX. The basic fare is $.35 for seniors, $.50 for students, and $.75 for adults per ride and there are no zone charges. Transfers within the system are free; transfers from Culver City Municipal Bus Lines to a bus operated by another line cost $.25.

There are seven lines that run to and from UCLA:
- Line 2: Sunset Boulevard-Downtown-UCLA-Pacific Palisades
- Line 20: Downtown-Westwood-Santa Monica
- Line 21: Wilshire Boulevard-Downtown-UCLA
- Line 302: Sunset Boulevard Express-Downtown-UCLA-Pacific Palisades
- Line 576: South Los Angeles-UCLA-Pacific Palisades
- Metro Rapid 76 - Lakeview Terrace-Wilshire-Westwood
The basic cash fare on MTA buses is $1.25 per ride. Transfers can be purchased for $.25. Riders should have exact change.
Discounted tokens are available at $11.00 for 10 tokens ($1.10 each) at the UCLA Central Ticket Office or any MTA customer service center.
Monthly passes for full-time college students cost $30. The pass is good for unlimited rides on all MTA bus lines within LA County. Applications for student passes are available at the Central Ticket Office. Each month after you receive your pass, you can purchase a renewal sticker for $30 at the Central Ticket Office. Monthly passes for non-students cost $52 per month.

BruinGo! is a $.25 bus fare program for all UCLA students, staff, and faculty. Just swipe your valid BruinCard in the bus fare box, instead of using cash or tokens. The fare box automatically counts the trip and allows you to ride. There are no debits or charges made to your BruinCard. Campus Express is a shuttle that runs from 7:00 am-7:00 pm, Monday through Friday excluding holidays. A shuttle arrives at clearly marked stops across campus every 10-12 minutes.
