Bruin OnLine (BOL) is a collection of software and services that gives UCLA students, faculty, and staff access to e-mail, campus network services, and the internet. BOL services include dial-up access using PPP at speeds up to 56 kbps and access to the campus network through ethernet ports.

With BOL you can:

• check class availability in the online Schedule of Classes
• access your student records via URSA Online
• search for a book at the UCLA Library, or browse online databases, via ORION2
• review the Calendar of Events
• check the online Campus & CHS Directory
• send and receive e-mail
• create your own personal web page
• join in special interest discussions on UseNet
• read wire service news on ClariNet
• access class web pages and discussion groups
