The function of the Office of Student Services (OSS) is to facilitate the academic progress of students in the School of Arts and Architecture. As the representative of the Dean of the School, the responsibilities of the OSS include:

  • Academic counseling for new and continuing students.
  • Initiating and maintaining a degree progress report (DPR) for each student.
  • Advising students on issues such as program planning, course selection, changing majors, double majors, minors, academic difficulty, education abroad, and transferable coursework.
  • Reviewing and processing student petitions requesting exceptions to University, School and departmental policies.
  • Providing online enrollment services.
  • Providing official clearance for graduation.
